Gift a Smile This Puja: Join Mrittika’s ‘Pujor Notun Jama” Journey

Durga Puja is not just a celebration — it’s an emotion woven with love, light, and tradition. One of the most beautiful customs of this festival is gifting and wearing Notun Jama (new clothes). But for many families living in remote villages and tribal communities, this small joy often remains out of reach.

This year, Mrittika continues its heartfelt initiative — “Pujor Notun Jama” — to bring festive happiness to those who are often forgotten.

We aim to distribute 500 new sarees to women and 500 new dresses to children from underprivileged families in far-flung villages and tribal belts. Each saree and dress will be hand-delivered with love and warmth, ensuring that no one feels left out of the celebration.

This year, Mrittika continues its heartfelt initiative — “Pujor Notun Jama” — as part of an ongoing Durga Puja clothes donation campaign aimed at reaching the most forgotten corners of Bengal. These aren’t just clothes — they are symbols of dignity, belonging and festive joy.

By choosing to support our Pujor Notun Jaama donation drive, you’re not just helping someone wear new clothes — you’re helping them feel seen, valued and included. If you’re looking to buy clothes and donate them to underprivileged children this puja, your contribution can go a long way.
